Community Impact Grant

Every two years, United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States opens a fully competitive grant process. This page provides prospective nonprofit applicants with the information to determine if they qualify and wish to apply for United Way of Dubuque Area Tri States (UWDATS) funding as part of the 2024-2026 Community Impact Investment Process. 

It is the goal of UWDATS to fund the strongest proposals based on established evaluation criteria with heavy emphasis on documented program performance. Top priority areas for UWDATS is poverty prevention and/or reduction in the areas of Health, Education, and Financial Stability, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as community collaboration. 

The grant will open Monday, January 22, 2024 and close at 5:00pm Friday February 23, 2024. Two virtual information sessions will be held; Tuesday January 23rd 9:00am - 10:00am and Thursday January 25th 3:00pm - 4:00pm. Attendance is not required but recommended.

Weekly Q & A: UWDATS will accept grant questions in writing. Questions will be answered in writing in aggregate each Friday (with the last post date of February 23, 2024) so that all have access to the same information. Names of organization asking will not be disclosed.
