Community Impact Grant

Every two years, United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States opens a fully competitive grant process. This page provides prospective nonprofit applicants with the information to determine if they qualify and wish to apply for United Way of Dubuque Area Tri States (UWDATS) funding. The 2024-2026 Community Impact Investment Process was our most recent. The next competative grant cycle will open in January 2026.

It is the goal of UWDATS to fund the strongest proposals based on established evaluation criteria with heavy emphasis on documented program performance. Top priority areas for UWDATS is poverty prevention and/or reduction in the areas of Health, Education, and Financial Stability, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as community collaboration.
